Message from the Chairperson
The Board of Directors of Health & Community Services - Central have
worked diligently since it's inception in 1998 to develop a strategic
plan that will lead the organization into the future. The Vision, Mission,
Values, and Strategic Goals of Health & Communty Services - Central
were approved in 2001 and represent our committment to individuals,
families and communities.
The theme throughout our strategic plan is to achieve accessibility
in the programs and services offered to the people of Central Newfoundland
within available resources. With dedication, the Board of Directors,
Chief Executive Officer, Management and Staff all have the ability to
work towards making that theme a reality. With this clear, long term
vision, the dedicated and professional staff of Health & Community Services
- Central have the ability to focus their energies on improving the
delivery of our programs and services in the Central Newfoundland region.

Health & Community Services - Central uses a population health approach
to provide quality community based programs and services that promote
and support the health and well being of residents of Central Newfoundland,
within its available resources.
Vision
Residents of Central Newfoundland will enjoy optimal health and well
