The
focus of the Health Promotion and Screening Program is to provide access
to health information and to provide programs to enhance the community's
health status. Screening programs are provided to detect and reduce
the incidence of disease in the community. Education, promotion and screening are available to individuals and groups in the home, school, workplace and community. The format may include counseling, group discussion, lecture or workshop. Programs may be carried out by community health nurses or community health consultants in various specialty areas. Consultants are available in the areas of dental health, reproductive health, nutrition, health promotion, parent and child health and environmental health. Our team of consultants develop, implement and provide educational programs on various health promotion topics.
